Bodkočiarka

Bodkočiarka je niečo medzi bodkou a dvojbodkou. Bodkočiarky možno v angličtine použiť pre pripojenie fráz a viet, ktoré sú tematicky spojené, bez potreby použitia spojky (príklad 1 nižšie). Bodkočiarky tiež možno použiť miesto dvojbodiek, ak chceme oddeliť položky na zozname, keď položky samy o sebe už obsahujú čiarky (príklad 2 nižšie).
