Let us help you achieve first-class language credentials, academic knowledge and so much more through our EF Academic Year Abroad Programme.
Programme overview
The EF Academic Year Abroad Programme is a six or nine-month programme of study combining language studies with an academic focus. Our programmes are structured to give you a fundamental understanding of your study language and enable you to use it in an academic or professional context.
Intensive language achievement
Our exclusive teaching method, the EF Efekta™ System, uses blended learning to guarantee that your needs are met. Classes are taught by experienced teachers and attention is on speaking and listening to increase your fluency. Specialised Efekta™ textbooks ensure you can follow in class and continue learning at home.
Academic focus
Our unique curriculum contains lessons with an academic focus allowing you to use your language skills in a more advanced context. Textbooks are geared towards your language level. Interactive language labs, iLabs, allow you to gain tuition at your own pace. Once you have advanced in your language level, special interest classes will be integrated into your programme to allow you to study subjects that interest you. Our collaboration with Cambridge University guarantees an ongoing exploration of the best methods to improve language learning and to help take a more meaningful measure of your language progress.
