Campus activities office
Each week your school’s on-site EF activities coordinator arranges a full programme of sports, activities, and excursions. Participating in organized events is the best way to make new friends and get involved in campus life.
Open days at universities
During your course we will arrange for you to attend open days at nearby universities. This allows you to visit prospective universities, investigate degree courses and meet university admissions officers. You will also gain insight into what university life is like before you actually decide where to apply.
EF International Academy university fairs
Take advantage of EF International Academy fairs where you can meet admissions officers and speakers from various universities who give talks at our campuses. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about academic faculties and individual universities, and have an initial interview.
Fun excursions and trips
Take advantage of your time abroad to discover a new country and culture. Your EF activities coordinator plans a number of excursions and trips throughout your stay. You will have the chance to visit museums and historical sights or enjoy local attractions. At the weekend, explore
our host country and try a new adventure sport like mountain biking or rock climbing. The highlight of your stay may even be a weekend trip to Paris, Boston, London or Seattle, depending on which school you choose.
Sports teams and tournaments
Play in an international football tournament or join campus sports teams, which are available for just about every sport. Each campus is located near exceptional athletic facilities so that you can swim, play tennis, or work out at the gym. Our New York campus has substantial sports facilities, playing fields, tennis and basketball courts, and an indoor competition swimming pool on site.
After-school student clubs
We offer a wide range of extracurricular activities at each school. Popular clubs and activities at EF International Academy include debate, student council, the school newspaper, cooking club, fashion design, photography, choir, movie club, chess club and Model United Nations. We
support student initiatives to organise new and exciting extracurricular opportunities.
EF International Academy Alumni Association
Stay in touch! Throughout the year our local offices organise reunion parties, visits to schools and informal meetings for former EF International Academy students. It is a great way to stay in contact with those who have shared similar experiences, swap stories and meet new like-minded people.
