EF International Academy operates a holistic admissions procedure.



Admissions procedure
Contact your local EF office to schedule a consultation with our Admissions Counselor to learn about the program most suited to your educational experience, English level, and academic goals.

1) Hand in your application documents: 
a. completed application form
b. high school transcripts
c. evidence of your English level (SLEP, TOEFL, IELTS). Don’t worry if you don’t have one already, we can test your level at our office, free of charge
d. completed Statement of Purpose form
e. copy of your passport photo and information pages 

2) Our Admissions team will review all your documentation and contact you about your potential acceptance within five business days 

3) Once you are accepted, you will need to provide us with the following documents no later than 60 days prior to course start:
a. completed health certificate
b. completed parental consent form
c. final school transcript (including English translation)
d. proof of insurance

Student requirements

In order to join EF International Academy programmes, students must demonstrate that:

1) They are mature enough to cope with the demands of the
EF International Academy programmes, including living in a foreign country and coping with the inevitable culture shock.

2) They are academically capable of dealing with the requirements of EF International Academy programmes.

3) They are able to study at the high school level through the medium of the English language.

Individual interviews and testing take place both in the home country and again upon arrival at school to ensure that students meet these requirements.
