EF Master English for International Affairs

Solving global issues requires cross-cultural communication. MEIA helps you prepare with essential language skills required in fields relating to international affairs. Focus on global topics such as humanitarian issues, international peacekeeping, the global economy, and the environment.

The structured programme focuses on both daily and weekly news. Which events affect global relations and why. What the relationship is between informative journalism and political pressures. Examine conflict resolution, poverty and aid, human rights, and much more.

Included in the MEIA programme

  • Six or nine-month programme
  • Welcome package and orientation
  • Call from an EF Language Coach before and after programme
  • 32 lessons per week in General & Special Interest English
  • Twin room in a homestay (single room for a supplement)
  • Breakfast and dinner Monday-Friday, all meals on the weekends in a homestay
  • Portfolio of academic credentials, including the MEIA Diploma and EFCELT Report
  • Preparation for an internationally recognized English exam
